Placed down the pacific side of the country, this region enjoys the awesome phenomenon of non-stop offshore winds! Due to a wind current generated by the Nicaraguan Great Lake that conect caribbean winds with the pacific ocean.
From April to October Nicaragua is on the ”Green season” which means that all the vegetation becomes full of life due to the occasional rains. During this time the south pacific swells become more regular and consistent with some eventual larger swells. So intermediate and advance surfers are more likely to score their dreamy waves during these months!
Water temperature is always warm enough for surfing in boardshorts but surfers may need a thin summer wetsuit or at least a rash vest to block the UV.
Plenty of swell, more than regular offshore winds and our local knowledge! There are high probabilities that our surfers enjoy the surftrip!
